Dragster Australia magazine, in conjunction
with experienced group tour
specialists,
Ticket2Ride Global Adventures, is pleased to
announced the 50th Anniversary NHRA
Winternationals 2010 Tour. The tour will take
in one of drag racing’s most iconic events –
the NHRA Winternationals, which next year
celebrates its 50th birthday.
The Itinerary for the tour has been put
together with the dedicated drag racing
enthusiast in mind. It is focused on the
heartland and birthplace of drag racing on the
US west coast and will visit some of the
world’s most iconic drag race attractions. As
the tour gets closer, organisers will also be
announcing some special ‘surprise bonus
features’ designed to make this tour a truly
exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime experience for
dedicated drag racing fans. Stay tuned for

DAY 1, Wednesday February 3
Depart Australia
Arrive LA, transfer to accommodation
Activities: Special reception at the NHRA
Museum, Pomona
DAY 2, Thursday February 4
Activities: coach transfer to Auto Club
Raceway at Pomona for the first day of
qualifying for the 50th Anniversary NHRA
Winternationals
DAY 3, Friday February 5
Activities: coach transfer to Auto Club
Raceway at Pomona for the second day of
qualifying and Sportsmen eliminations for the
50th Anniversary NHRA Winternationals
DAY 4, Saturday February 6
Activities: coach transfer to Auto Club
Raceway at Pomona for the third day of
qualifying and Sportsmen and Comp Eliminator
finals for the 50th Anniversary NHRA
Winternationals
DAY 5, Sunday February 7
Activities: coach transfer to Auto Club
Raceway at Pomona for the final day of racing,
including all Pro classes – Top Fuel, Funny
Car and Pro Stock -- for the 50th Anniversary
NHRA Winternationals. Included will be special
commemorative events and racing, including
historic displays and activities.
DAY 6, Monday February 8 (Possible rain day in
the event of weather delaying eliminations)
Activities: day at leisure – can include
organised activities at the request of tour
members
DAY 7, Tuesday February 9
Activities: coach transfer for a day of
entertainment for drag racing purists. First
stop will be the headquarters of John Force
Racing, including a possible audience with the
king of nitro funny car racing, the legendary
John Force himself! Opportunities to purchase
collectibles and soak up the history of a true
icon of the quarter-mile sport. Then it’s off
to another auto performance historic landmark
in the shape of the Justice Brothers Racing
Museum. Here there are all manner of displays
and memorabilia showcasing the history of drag
racing and speedway. There are also plans for
another very special visit today – more

DAY 8, Wednesday February 10
Activities: day at leisure – can include
organised activities at the request of tour
members
