Wayne
certainly did get the Keys to that Five Seconds of Glory when he drove his
and Lisa Keys Monaro to an amazing AA/AP 5.979 during qualifying at the
Kwinana Funny Car race. The battle to be the first AA/AP car into the
fives was intense so congratulations to Wayne and Lisa Keys for their
tremendous effort.
The Jets and the Nitro Funny Cars also provided plenty of thrills at both
meetings with Chuck Haynes (Jet) producing a best of 310.34 mph while
Damien Harris run the Best Tractor Parts Funny Car to a 5.018 at 315.78
mph.
